Formation

Formation deals with teaching and evangelisation within the Parish; and reaching out to those outside. We all have a need for continual formation and support in our Catholic Faith and it is the essential nature of the Church to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Lay catechists with priests as Chaplains run sacramental preparation course for:

• Baptism (parents if infants)
• First Communion
• Confirmation
• Marriage
• R.C.I.A. (for adults seeking baptism or full communion with the Catholic Church)
• Alpha (for both Catholics and non-Catholics to look at the basics of the Christian Faith)

We also aim to promote faith sharing and prayer in small groups.
