Groups: Parish Ministries

We are an active and vibrant community due to the diversity of it's participants. We encourage as many people as possible to participate in the community of St Joseph's through our parish groups.

Each parish group reflects an essential area of parish life. Some of the groups reflect our shared faith, others reflect our family and social life.

Finance

The aims and objectives of the Finance Committee are to provide, maintain and enhance the finance and resources necessary to enable the community of St Joseph's to carry out its mission.

Formation

Formation deals with teaching and evangelisation within the Parish; and reaching out to those outside. We all have a need for continual formation and support in our Catholic Faith and it is the essential nature of the Church to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Liturgy

Liturgy concerns the planning and co-ordinating and celebrating of the Eucharist, and other services throughout the year, so that our worship may be reverent and fruitful.

Mission

The primary purpose of the Mission Team is to raise awareness of external issues that relate to the local community and beyond so as to further the mission of the Catholic Church.

Music

We have a choir at the 11.00am mass and two bands that lead worship at 6.30pm mass: the 6.30pm Mass Band & Gyms youth band, The KEY.

Our aim is to provide opportunities for young people to encounter Jesus in a real and personal way and then respond to His call, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to serve and to Worship God.
