Prayer Group

The Prayer Group is for any parishioner who wants to meet for prayer and fellowship.

prayergroup

The Prayer Group is open to all three parishes and everyone is most welcome. It is a fluid group with usually between 10-15 people. We often go through a stressful time in the lives - bereavement, relationship problems, illness, unemployment, the list is endless. The Prayer Group would like to offer support and prayer at these times. We all need prayer support from time to time, and Jesus teaches us that when two or more are joined in prayer, that He will be there too. This is very much the heart of the Prayer Group. Come when you like, stay as long as you like and leave when you're ready. God Bless and we look forward to meeting you.

Prayer Group meets at Mark and Caroline Van Den Berg's home, 12 Downsway, off Trodds Lane, Guildford GU1 2YA. All meetings start at 8.00pm. For more information about the Prayer Group contact Caroline 01483 458225.

Fathers Prayers

Fathers Prayers is simply a group of fathers who meet regularly to pray for their children. Our children are so important to us that we feel we need to keep them constantly in our prayers and so by meeting together, we are able to support each other.

fathersprayers

Joining Fathers Prayers can be a life changing experience where we learn to surrender our children and families to our God. We know that He loves us and wants us to succeed in our duties as men who are both spiritual and physical fathers.

All MEN are welcome to join - of whatever denomination or religion, and those of no religion, who see themselves in a fatherly role and want to help others to experience the reality of their manhood.

We are God's creation, uniting with each other in prayer for ourselves, our families and for those less fortunate than ourselves.

You are really welcome to join us - there is no joining fee or charges for booklets or newsletters. If you wish to make a donation, it's entirely up to you - we don't ask for money and you can have as many booklets or newsletters, as you wish.

Where and When
The St Joseph's Fathers Prayers Group meets at 6.30 am every Tuesday morning in one of our homes. The prayer time lasts about half an hour and then we have breakfast together.
