Formational Programmes

Formation deals with teaching and evangelisation within the Parish; and reaching out to those outside. We all have a need for continual formation and support in our Catholic Faith and it is the essential nature of the Church to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, no matter what our age. St Joseph's provides a huge range of sacramental and non-sacramental formational programmes.

For Children and Families

These include:

• Baptism
• Mothers and Toddlers (children aged 2/3 years old)
• Children's Liturgy (pre-school, reception and Years 1 &2 primary school children)
• First Communion (Year 3)

For Youth

• jGYM (for young people in School years 6-9)
• Confirmation
• GYM (for young people in School years 10-13)

For Adults

• Getting married?
• Becoming a Catholic (R.C.I.A)
• Home Groups
• Prayer Groups
• Alpha Course (for both Catholics and non-Catholics to look at the basics of the Christian Faith)
